Helping the 1st Framwellgate Moor Scout Group is a diverse, interesting and enjoyable experience. The Group is entirely run by volunteers. These include leaders, helpers and committee members. The roles are explained in more detail here.

Assorted Leaders

More help is always needed - and can cover everything from helping with a section once a week through to repairing the hut. It doesn't have to be a big commitment - if you can offer help we'll take it! The group also needs specialist skills instructors, so if you've got a particular skill you'd like to share we'd like to hear from you.

Any adults working directly with our young people will need to complete either an occasional helpers form or an adult application form, which can then be brought into a section meeting along with your passport and driving license for sign off by a section leader.

Adults joining Scouting are suported by a well regonised training scheme covering all aspects of Scouting much of which is administered at a group level.
