1st Framwellgate Moor Scout Group
Beavers Cubs Scouts Scouts Scouts
Durham Scout County

The group has three Beaver colonies - one meets in the the Scout Hut on Monday evenings from 6pm - 7pm, one meets at the hut on Tuesday evenings from 5pm to 6pm while the third also in the hut, meets from 6pm-7pm on a Thursday evening.

All three Fram Beaver Colonies are lively and exciting colonies with young and enthusiastic leaders. We try to organise a very varied programme allowing Beavers to earn at least 2 badges each term. We often play games, act out sketches, learn about foreign countries and emergency services as well as going outdoors for treasure hunts and fun with knots.

Each year we also attend most of the events for Beavers organised by the Durham City Scout District such as:
- Tenpin Bowling
- Gang Show (performances by each Beaver Colony in Durham)
- Children's entertainer
- Theme Night
- Beaver Picnic at Moor House Activity Centre
- Sports Night

And not forgetting the Beaver Sleepover - which for many young people can be their first night away from parents/guardians!

If you have any questions about Fram Beavers then feel free to get in touch. We aim to reply to any emails within 1-2 days (if not the same day) so please be reassured you will receive a prompt reply!

Join It would be great to hear from you if you're interested in joining Fram Beavers. Again, we will respond quickly to let you know if there's a space or to ask if you would like your son/daughter to be put down on the waiting list.
